For the classroom

Mini whiteboard quiz

Paste in a list of questions and run them on the board, one at a time, in large text. Everyone writes an answer, holds up their board, and you reveal the answer once you have seen them. No slides to make and nothing to mark. No account needed; saved quizzes stay in this browser.

Questions

One question per line. Put the answer after a dash with a space either side, e.g. Who was king of the gods? - Zeus. An = works too. A dash inside a word, like half-brother, is left alone. You can also paste two columns straight from a spreadsheet or table, or put the answer on the next line starting A:. Numbers at the start of a line (1., Q2)) are taken off, and lines starting # are skipped. A question without an answer still works: you just check the boards yourself.

For bold, italics or underlining on the board, type **bold**, *italics* or __underline__.

Settings

The picker goes through everyone before it picks anyone twice. The class list is kept in this browser and saved with each quiz.

Saved quizzes

Saved quizzes are stored in this browser only, so they are lost if you clear your browsing data. The link holds the questions and answers themselves (not the class list), so you can send it to a colleague or open it on the classroom computer.
